Spliced Hazelnut Latte Recipe

Serving size: 6 large mugs

  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 tbsp firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • A pinch each of cloves and pepper
  • 4 cups brewed Java Trading Hazelnut coffee
  • 1/4 cup 35% whipping cream, whipped to stiff peaks
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped toasted hazelnuts

Step 1

Combine milk, brown sugar, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and pepper in medium saucepan set over medium-low heat. Cook, stirring often, 3 to 5 min. until steaming. Whisk with frother or hand blender until frothy.

Step 2

Divide hot coffee among 6 large mugs. Pour frothy milk over coffee. Top with dollop of whipped cream. Garnish with hazelnuts.
